St. Maarten’s major new attraction, Rockland Estate, will be opening to the public this Friday in advance of cruise ships returning to Philipsburg in mid-December.

Rockland Estate is Sint Maarten’s newest attraction. The eco-park is located on the historic Emilio Wilson Estate just a short ride from Port Sint Maarten. This new attraction delivers a dynamic and unforgettable experience featuring the historic Emilio Wilson Museum, breathtaking 360-degree views from Sint Maarten’s highest mountain and four rides including the world’s steepest zip line, the “Flying Dutchman”.
This will be a soft opening with the two signature attractions, the Flying Dutchman, touted as the world’s longest zip line, and the Souliga Sky Explorer, a chairlift adventure, in operation.

Carnival Corp. & plc’s David Candib, VP development and operations, Global Port & Destination Development Group, has predicted Rockland Estate ‘will surely become a bucket-list item for anyone visiting the island,’ whether just to take in the incredible views or to experience the one-of-a-kind attractions, while also gaining perspective on history and culture.
Friday, November 24th through Sunday, November 26th from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm??
